The league continues to be extremely close at the top with the first 3 teams separated only by one point, and first and second positions decided only on goal difference. All three top teams - Trust, CBH and Comets Tornadoes - won again this weekend keeping the pressure on. Stratford Ladies Blues also took a win against BDR, keeping close behind in fourth position.
Trust's game against Comets Thunder was played with just 6 players, and the youth of the Thunder team certainly had Trust working hard. They pulled together well as a team to take the win in a friendly well fought match with some excellent shooting from Becky Morris and Ella Kirby for Comets Thunder.

They pulled together well as a team to take the win in a friendly well fought match with some excellent shooting from Becky Morris and Ella Kirby for Comets Thunder.
Pink Ladies had CBH thinking in the first 2 quarters of their game, but CBH showed their class and pulled back with a particularly strong final quarter to secure a comfortable win. Jo Haslam played a strong game in a number of different positions for Pink Ladies, making a great contribution to their overall performance. She demonstrated some great skills in the attacking circle as did her team mate Hayley Samman, and Vicky Lacey and Holly Jackson for CBH.
Post match, following a significant defeat at the hands of Comets Tornadoes, the Shooters team went on to attend a first aid course hosted by Cotswold First Aid, their new team sponsors. Shooters now have 11 qualified first aiders within their club, a skill most definitely useful to have around a netball court, so congratulations to them.
